Singularity is honored to present one of our favorite artists from our early days as fans of the Harder and more industrial sounding side of techno, UK based acid and hard techno legend, D.A.V.E. The Drummer.

We have always been music centered in our passion for throwing events and bringing you the artists many of you have always wanted to see in this city. You’ll feel that in this line up curated from that standpoint. You’ll also feel that in the excess amount of bass coming from sound system for this showcase. There are many reasons this night will be special and our main act is just one of them. We also have acid techno purist, LA’s very own LETHAL ONE, owner of kick ass “OFFICIAL” record label (vinyl).
If 2 label heads aren’t enough for you then we you’ll be happy to know that we also have another LA based label boss and fellow pusher of the darker & harder techno sounds, Mykrodose, (M:31 Recordings), rounds out this insane night of techno.

More on D.A.V.E. The Drummer:

If you are into the harder end of Techno Music, you may have already come across one of D.A.V.E. The Drummer’s records. Hailing from the London illegal warehouse party scene that exploded in the 90’s, producer D.A.V.E. The Drummer started the techno label Hydraulix as an output for his production ideas. The label intended to bridge the gap between the Acid Techno of his previous productions and a darker form of techno that dave was experimenting with in the studio. Hydraulix made some big waves in the Hard Techno scene throughout the 2000’s and is still going strong to this day. Tracks from Hydraulix have found their way into the playlists of some of the worlds top DJs as well as having a huge following of underground Techno DJs across the globe.

On Friday August 11th, one of technos most prolific artists who made their debut with us long ago, known for some of the most forward thinking techno productions in the international techno market today, returns to deliver another quality performance for our next edition of Singularity Presents. @wndrlst_music is a Rotterdam-born techno DJ & Producer based in Budapest, Hungary – still in his twenties with roots in dark, industrial music – the last few years have really seen his productions and DJ sets come to the forefront with his unique hard-hitting style unleashing thunderous sounds across every big warehouse space around the world. With several noticable releases on labels like NineTimesNine (999999999), Sacred Court as well as his own label Occult Rhythms – his music has gained continual support from the industry finest artists like 999999999, Paula Temple, SNTS, I Hate Models and many more… which has seen him quickly making name for himself in very little time. Those familiar with WNDRLST’s music will have seen him featured headlining some of the worlds most prestigious techno festivals around the world and we couldn’t be more excited to be having him return to LA for what is sure to be a night you won’t wanna miss. On Saturday July 08th, two of LA’s hardest techno institutions will come together to deliver unto LA one of its fiercest, most speaker incinerating debuts of the past few years. This Brazilian Hard Techno DJ Team has been playing on 6 decks and 2 mixers since 1997, @petduo can be described as Machine Music with Heart and Soul! Rare is the electronic duo that makes a significant impact on the music scene, but even rarer is the electronic duo that helps pioneer an entire genre, establishes a twenty-year legacy for building an international powerhouse, and all the while manages to stay happily wed for over two decades. PETDuo are true masters of their domain. Formed in 1997 in São Paulo, Brazil, the Berlin-based hard-techno sensation have been bucking trends with their non-conformist attitude and maverick-like ethos since their inception, ruthlessly carving a place for themselves in the overpopulated realm of electronic music, and establishing the group as an innovator, a vanguard that fashioned many of Techno’s popular trends. We couldn’t be more excited to he finally joining forces with LA’s premier schranz and hardtechno specialists @technoids.la to be bringing you this rare debut of one of techno and hardcore’s fastest playing, hardest dropping duos of the century, with support for this unique showcase TBA 🤫😉

On May 13th, Singularity returns with a fresh debut for the fans of harder techno sounds in Southern California. Wallis is a heavy-hitting techno producer, DJ, label owner and mastering engineer based in Berlin. Using an array of synthesizers, effects units, and experimental studio techniques, Wallis produces confrontational and urgent techno that shifts constantly between different patterns and atmospheres. Described by promoter and podcast series The Brvtalist as “one of the most dynamic artists emerging on the global scene”, she released a steady stream of podcasts on channels such as Boiler Room, Possession, Reclaim Your City, Hate and numerous others. Monument magazine listed her as one of the “5 emerging techno producers in Germany”: she launched her very own label, Jell, released on various labels such as Possession and recently released on the infamous R-Label. Promoter Strictly Forbidden describes her live sets as “unapologetic and merciless, an ever-evolving set-up always based upon one main instrument: her modular synthesizer.” Having played at Berlin clubs Berghain, Tresor and Griessmühle, to name a few, she holds a residency in Trauma Bar at the Floorgasm party, and plays all over Europe and further. On October 7th we begin the fall/winter months of singularity debuts with a pair of heavy hitters who have been on the rise with their unique, hard edged productions. @r.organic comes to us all the way from France to make his North American debut at the singularity warehouse. With a long catalog of original productions defined by their overdriven, distorted kicks and noisy atmospheres, Rorganic has been a longtime inspiration for us here at singularity and we couldn’t be more excited to be sharing his US debut with you all. Hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, @dahryl__ has been stirring up his own buzz with releases on The Meaning of Rave, Green Fetish Records and more. No doubt a prominent name on future festival lineups, Dahryl is one to keep your eye on as he continues his ascent thru the ranks of the international techno scene. Tonight is one of the most highly anticipated debut performances we have had thus far and we couldn’t be more excited.

If you’re not familiar with our prolific headliner, allow us to fill you in a bit:

Simon Jadot, aka Jacidorex, is a young talented producer from Brussels who has taken the Acid scene by storm. After discovering Acid music with producers like Mr. Gasmask and Acidolido in late 2013, he soon became one of the exponents of the fresh and strong generation of Acid producers in Belgium and France, with like minded friends like X&trick and JKS.

Next to his passion for Acid music, he also has a strong taste for Techno and where Techno meets Acid(cores) to form Neoacid, which he describes as a mixture of all kinds of Acid, industrial Techno and even dark Electro. Neoacid became the trademark sound of Jacidorex and his productions go further than the usual Acid bangers, with extremely well produced tracks full of oldschool influences and his typical deep and dark synths. Among numerous projects with his own label Neoacid, he releases his second album on Rave Alert Records in 2021.

As a prolific producer and DJ, he aims towards a progressive and structured Techno sound with hard and dark influences, which earned him a place in the hearts of many Acid and Techno lovers, hitting over 1 million views on youtube with his ‘Abyssal Kick’ track. Gaining support by key players like Amelie Lens or I Hate Models, and playing all over the world, he is currently performing a busy gig schedule to spread the sound of Neoacid.
